Title Change!

Readers, Writers, and Dreamers!

Hi!

Well, I feel it is in my best interest to inform you about the title changes. What, you ask? Title changed from whuh to what? Hee-hee.

I did some recent overhauling on the books in my series, and I decided to change the titles. The books are relatively new to the market, so I was unsure if it was a good or a bad idea to change the titles. In my heart of hearts, I am happy with my decision. Since the books have been edited and some content rearranged, I felt it would make sense to better align the books under a similar theme. (I'm such a newbie author doing newbie things.) Needless to say, I'm learning as I go! So, awesome people, I introduce to you.....

The Hunters and the Queen Series:

Book I: Resurgence
Book II: Transcendence
Book III: Emergence (Coming Soon)

Book Reviewers? Hello? Is There Anybody Out There??

Hi :0)

Do you like to read new and free books? Do you like to share your impression, feedback, applause, and constructive critique of your reading experience with the author and possibly the reading public? If you do, then I would like to meet your acquaintance. I am seeking book reviewers to provide feedback for either one of my YA books (The Hunters and the Queen and The Gypsy Hunter). I'm not asking you to post your review on any site; however, I would like to hear your opinion. If you choose to accept, I will deliver the e-book to you for free. Once finished reading, then, you can leave your review here at the blog, or you can email it to me at virginiavayna@gmail.com.

The Hunters and the Queen

When college student, Jolán Vajnbirg, encounters Prince Colemund William Frederik Van Oranje-Nassau, the two bring the celestial destiny of the sky world to perfection. Jolán was born as a reincarnated spirit, but it took a synchronicity of events to spark her supernatural breakthrough.

Now, the mission must continue. There is a suffocating grip
strangling parts of earth. The sky world needs the sky beings to battle the dark lords of the planet, the Order of hunters. The hunters have upset the planetary balance of the world. Jolán and Colemund are a vital part of history, and they’re powers are essential to fight the Order.
The Gypsy Hunter

The love of Colemund, the prince of Gallia Belgica, ignited the celestial whirlwind that transformed Jolán into a supernatural being. Jolán and Colemund have now made a pact with each other. Their solidarity is sealed within the Aegean Sea; however, a future of chaos awaits on their horizon. They must prepare. They must gain their strength. A battle is developing in the realm.

The hunters want Jolán dead; with the exception of Sadeiq, the gypsy hunter. Sadeiq wants to locate Jolán because she needs her help. Sadeiq wants to stop her own transformation; she is becoming a hunter. She does not want to join the hunter lifestyle, but she already sealed her fate with a contract for her life. A contract she hopes Jolán can break. The hunters are selfish, evil, and monopolistic creatures who crave complete control throughout the realm of the world.

Thank You

Enjoy a Book Excerpt...

Hello, Readers!
How is your book? I hope you're enjoying the story line. Some books move fast, some books start slow and some books are full of pictures or facts. It's a big reading world out there. Whatever you're reading, I hope you're finding enjoyment. I have provided an excerpt from The Hunters and the Queen for you to read. Remember, keep your books open and your fonts enlarged! Cheers! :0)

Excerpt:

As she began to vacuum the carpet in long back and forth motions, Jolán looked up and saw a red cardinal and a black crow sitting outside her window. As she stood there staring at them and running the vacuum back and forth, the birds started pecking at the glass window. Jolán thought this amusing at first, but then wondered if the birds were trying to come inside the house. As the birds kept tapping on the window, Jolán turned off the vacuum and listened to their tapping. As she listened, it sounded as if the birds were banging out the message for SOS on the glass. Jolán knew this was ridiculous, but she couldn’t shake the similar sound of the bird’s tapping to the actual SOS distress signal used in Morse code. Three short and quick taps followed by three longer taps which were then followed by the three short and fast taps. The birds kept doing this in unison with each other. Jolán stood their looking at the birds as both birds were banging their beaks to this rhythm on the window.
As Jolán approached the window the birds instantly stopped and looked up at Jolán. The red cardinal cocked its head to the right and the black crow cocked its head to the left. Jolán felt a whirlwind stir inside of her and she felt an immense connection to something, but she did not know what it was that she felt connected. The birds stayed in their spot staring at Jolán; and Jolán stayed in her spot staring at the birds. Jolán felt she was in a trance-like state for what seemed like several minutes; the trance was instantly broken when her mother called up the steps to Jolán. Mrs. Vajnbirg yelled out, ‘Jolán, after you finish vacuuming, I’d like for you to fold your clothes.’ At that moment the birds flew away and Jolán snapped back to reality and took a deep breath as she answered her mother. Jolán answered, ‘Yes, mum, I was planning on doing that before I started reading.’ Jolán felt she was a part of something larger than her, but she tried to forget about the birds; however, she knew she would think about the bird message again.
