Thank You, Book Bloggers!

Hello!
It's been awhile since my last post. I abruptly shelved Silly Saturdays, temporarily. I hope to not stay away for this long again, but, life is unpredictable at times and tends to get busy. Still, there is not much of an excuse to not update, post, or share with you. Even if I have less than a handful of followers, you are important! Even the non-followers are important, but you already knew that. I won't take up too  much of your time, but, I would like to extend a THANK YOU to all the bloggers who recently took their time and posted, reviewed, and commented on my developing book series, The Hunters and the Queen. In case you are unaware, here are the first two books in the series: Resurgence and Transcendence.

Now, as many are aware, bloggers are crucial to writers. They provide valuable feedback, constructive criticism, book reviews, promotional opportunities, and a comfy place to post a book for the unaware reader to become aware of new books. Now, I can't say I sold a lot of books; actually, I sold none. However, the networking, reviews, and marketing are priceless and well worth my effort. So, THANK YOU, book bloggers. Everyone enjoy the Friday? Did you participate in any 4th of July activities? Have fun? Swim in the sun? Read a good book? Laugh? Good. Now, perhaps you will enjoy another installment of Silly Saturday. I present to you: Payday

Payday

I just received a brand new dollar

But I was told that I couldn’t holler

Then my mom gave me a dime

And told me not to waste my time

Later someone gave me a shiny new quarter

But told me I could not stand and loiter

Next they said I'd receive a huge surprise

But first I must go run and hide

Does this seem strange?

Or could it be?

That people are paying to get rid of me?

A Troll and Animals, Oh My!!!

Hey there!

How is everyone? Fantastic, I hope, or at least moderately content. As previously mentioned, I have another Silly Saturday installment. As a side note, if you haven't checked out your free copy of Resurgence, then get it before it's no longer free! So, as mentioned, I introduce to you: Three Animals and a Troll.

3 Animals and a Troll

What would you do

If your cat in the hat was really a rat?

Or the rat in the hat was really a mole?

And the mole in the hole was really a troll?

A troll who said you owed a toll!

A toll for which you shouldn’t owe

But then the mole paid your toll to the troll

And then the rat moved into the hole

Which belonged to the mole

But you didn’t mind because he kicked out the troll

Who took your toll

And gave it back to the cat in your hat

Who took the toll and put it in a small compartment for you and him.

There was a man in the rain

Who asked me if I complained?

I looked at him and said, “Why, Yes!”

“I hate the color of my dress!”

And then he looked at me and said

“Well, I hate my neighbor’s dog named Fred!”

And then I looked at him and said….

“Fred, the dog of Uncle Ted?”

And he said, “Yes! Why how did you guess?”

And I said, “He’s who bought this dress.”

Title Change!

Readers, Writers, and Dreamers!

Hi!

Well, I feel it is in my best interest to inform you about the title changes. What, you ask? Title changed from whuh to what? Hee-hee.

I did some recent overhauling on the books in my series, and I decided to change the titles. The books are relatively new to the market, so I was unsure if it was a good or a bad idea to change the titles. In my heart of hearts, I am happy with my decision. Since the books have been edited and some content rearranged, I felt it would make sense to better align the books under a similar theme. (I'm such a newbie author doing newbie things.) Needless to say, I'm learning as I go! So, awesome people, I introduce to you.....

The Hunters and the Queen Series:

Where’s my hat?

Somebody went and took my hat!

And I must say

I want it back!!

Somebody went and took my hat!

I left it here above the mat!

Listen to me when I say

That I don’t feel like playing today!

All I want is my hat!

That I left above the mat!

Please don’t make me scream and yell!

It will only force me to run and tell!

If I don’t receive my hat…..!
